Help – Mat mold in bathtub?
I have a black background that are under a rug in the bathtub, I think it's the mold I was wondering what the best way to eliminate this and how I can prevent this from happening again? This is the room carpet has been affected.
The only way to safely dispose mold caused by moisture (this is what is going on mats …) is to use chlorine to kill and spores and to ensure that does not return. Unless you let the moisture accumulate again. So to prevent mold back once you have erased all traces of it after a bath or shower, turn your carpet to vacuum up the edge of the tub. Clean with a soft cloth and complete the process by air drying. If you do not like that idea and too much hassle, turn the table and stand in the bath. Of course there will still be damp, but not as bad as leaving the carpet laid at the bottom of a tub or wet. Permanent permit most of the water to drain and not have to do the bleaching process again for a while. Happy washing! Use 2 parts water to 1 part bleach. Use rubber gloves. Convert your mat face down in the tub and slowly pour the mixture into the mold covered mat. Soak for at least 3 hours. Rinse the mat. Repeat the process, only this time, using a cloth, soft brush or sponge (I prefer a soft bristle brush, even a soft toothbrush in hard to reach places), remove remaining mold. Rinse well with water as hot as you can stand with rubber gloves. Repeat this process
