How do I get rid of churning white mold in my shoes after that wrapped in a polythene bag while wet?
I was on vacation and washed a favorite pair of shoes on the plain water and then wrapped in a polythene bag with the intention to wash correctly when I arrived home. When pulled, the interiors were covered with cotton-like mold. I have washed with disinfectant several times and sprayed inside with all kinds of cleaning products but still strong musty odor and is growing again under soles: o (spray cast all seem to point black mold, but it works in my shoes? His biggest problem was that the enclosed in polyethylene, a non-permeable material. It would have been much better to use the papers, a material that would have allowed air to into the shoes to dry and also have absorbed some of the water that caused the problem.
