Mold part of my backpack?
So today I discovered that my backpack was a bit of rust on the bottom of a cereal compartments because of some left there. I tried to remove the mold with Lysol wipes, but I'm not sure if it is safe to use or even clear yet. Besides, did not use any type of mask when he does because I realized it was mold until too late. Does that pose a health risk to me? And the spread mold in my house because it was not an isolated environment? Is there any way to save my backpack? It is a black JanSport. Because I have no time to buy a new one before starting tomorrow classes.
I think you should throw out the pack. Mold spores are serious and could have survived and can pass on to other things in his backpack and could make you sick. But this could save your backpack.
