Health Inspector found black mold, my son and I developed asthma, and my son breaks out in rashes and hives!?

I notified my landlord more a year and nothing was done. Since then my son suffers from skin rashes and horrible respitory infections. Whenever I am sick and congestion, runny nose and headaches all the time! I have mold in my apartment in my basement and in my bathroom with its black leather texture and another part is a sandy texture. Every time I have sneeze attacks aound and I lifted some pictures to try to find the sorce and has yet to realize that would only aggravate the situation, I guess I should have made my first research! What should I do? I notified them of the problem over a year ago, and now they are doing nothing … My land lord really said to me .. "I can let you out of your lease if you like" I live in a low-income housing and I can not afford to pack up and move alone. I want something done about this and the need to move fast. My children are living in my mom … any suggestions? What should we do?

Hi TC, in this case Please do not expect the owner before getting up. Even if you had thousands of dollars in your bank account would nt matter if your home sick of death. And that's exactly what will happen if you stay in this environment any longer. You and your child need to get on anti-fungal medication immediately. Even when you go if you do not take medication this area will continue to feel very sick. Go to your home moms, for now and find a lawyer who earns a 99% its case out of court. If you live in affordable housing advantagous income would be to notify the Office of Local Government which governs the low-income housing of its intention to bring this issue to the public. I'm sure you can help, but please do not wait for any aid, you must leave immediately and I'm sorry to say this but you have to leave everything behind as furniture and clothing. God bless
