"I can empty black mold?
I was removing an old desk in my new bedroom and found, under the legs, a black mold that grows on the carpet. I was hoping for a new place shelf up there instead but I am concerned it would ruin the mold. It really grosses me out. "I can empty part of it before attempting to clean? Or would destroy the vacuum and the mold spread through the air? Is there a cheap home remedy can be used to remove the mold? Also when I moved from the table some of the molds spread to clean parts of the carpet. Will mold grow now in these new lands? Should I sleep in the guest room 'til I resolve this? Am I being paranoid? Is this too many questions? I have not enough points to vote … but I just want to say thank you Jeremy, made me feel better about the situation. It's basically what my stepfather was saying, but I thought I was going crazy.
Since today is April 1st you would be a fool to believe in response Jermany. Try doing some research on Stachybotrys mold or simply look up "mold toxic.
