Why not mildew / mold out deck?
I have tried to clean my deck to remove mildew / mold on the deck that is in the form of spots black. I cleaned with bleach air (only about 2 tablespoons for about 9 cups of water). I scrubbed the area with a deck brush. This makes the sealant come off! The mold is gone, but so did the sealer! Then I tried to avoid damaging the deck so far as to try to mold a murderer / remover sealant in the section of Home Depot. That is not doing the trick. Now I know that most likely, going to strip the entire deck and start over, but I need something that will kill the mold first and get rid of black spots. HELP!
you can try a cleaning product package with sodium percarbonate instead of a product chlorine. It is healthier for the environment but is also better to get rid of mold and bleach is best for wood.
