Unmasking the Myth of Freedom and Democracy in Latin America with events and experiences overseas
• "America is the epitome of democracy, the best form of government the world has ever known. The world envies our form of government by the people. "
• "America is the most free nation on Earth. "
• "In America we have something called freedom than other countries do not have and wish they did."
• "It's a free country."
• "Everyone in the world of dreams of reaching America."
These beliefs Dear fans of America and its propagandists have no real basis in fact or reality, however, are sung by many Americans, their media and the educational system as a religion and a set of gospel truths that are universally agreed and unquestionable. So are the antithesis of free thought and the search of present truth.
This is not an essay promoting anti-Americanism, but simply exposing the truth. Compare fact from fiction to reality against BS, truth against the propaganda, experience and enthusiasm vs. The truth is our goal, not conformity.
What is revealing is that only U.S. have never left their country for a long time believe in these myths, while American expats who have lived in several countries and are well covered (including me) NO, but in reality they know are stupid. Now what does that tell you?!
As a matter of fact, the U.S. is the only one who thinks that is the epitome of freedom and democracy. The rest of the world does not share these myths about the United States. Even the fascist regimes, dictators and terrorists do not see America as a country "free" (Contrary to what Hollywood and the U.S. media misportray). Rather, they see America as an evil imperialist empire trying to take the liberties of the rest of the world and trying to dominate and control everyone to take advantage of your resources! (I did to the Native Americans, so why not do it with the rest of the world?)
(Remember that no one considers itself to be "bad." Even Hitler and Stalin did not see themselves as "bad" or "bad." They found excuses and reasons to justify in his own mind that committed atrocities as "fair".)
These acts shatter these myths ones of America about itself, exposing them for what they really are – pure self-propaganda. Thus, America NEVER deal with these facts, only deny them, because they can propaganda of the delusions and illusions that hold together the country's moral.
With that, I wonder: Why perpetuate the myth of America is the only country that has the "freedom" and indoctrinated their people with this belief, when this is not supported by any facts, no agreed by the rest of world or even well-traveled Americans?
We will go into the reasons later.
These myths about freedom and democracy are programmed in American people, who are taught to sing like religious mantras, without thought or critical examination. There is no doubt that it is a form of brainwashing.
The few who think outside the box and are able to bypass your schedule to see through the falseness of these lies. However, there is a price to pay to learn the truth, in this case, be subject to mockery and contempt for the herd mentality that does not conform to their religious fanaticism, all in the name of patriotism and pride. So much to "freedom."
Let's dissect these myths and see how to match the facts, the commmon sense and real life experiences:
1) "America is the epitome of freedom and democracy for the world to emulate. It is the ideal form of government by the people that envy of the world."
We will later released, but for now, let's address the issue of democracy. Technically, a democracy is defined as a "majority rule." Hollywood, the media and our educational system all the songs that America is the epitome of democracy as if it were gospel truth that is universally agreed (But not for the moment). It is so ingrained in our culture that most would never dare to question it.
America's founding fathers never intended to be a democracy and does not even believe in one. Most Americans would be shocked to know this. Anyone who casually investigates the form of government U.S. and its foundation in the 18th century will be that, technically, the United States was not established as a democracy, but as a Constitutional Republic.
A Republic is "rule by law" and tends to be more just and stable form of government, protection of the rights of their citizens while limiting the power of government to a minimum.
The first video above contains excerpts from the founding fathers to express their thoughts on democracy, which you can see was anything but positive.
In fact, there is no mention of the word "democracy" in the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution. Even Pledge of Allegiance by schoolchildren mentioned above that America is a republic:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. "
The founding fathers were the intellectual elite knew their history. They knew that a democracy is untenable, and was basically a rule by a mob outside the law. The fundamental flaw in a democracy is that the majority is unrestricted.
Critics of democracy revealing use this analogy: "Democracy is like three wolves and a sheep voting on what it is for dinner. "In other words, if 51 percent of the population voted in favor of damage or seize the property of the other 49 percent, who will protect 49 percent? This reveals the inherent flaw of democracy, the United States does not dare to bring light a.
In fact, the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration Rights are designed to protect a democracy! (Most Americans would cover if they learned that) For example, in a true democracy, or a rule "by" most, if most people in his village voted to confiscate your property and you hang up, their property was confiscated and be hanged. As simple as that. But in a republic with a constitution of rights and property rights are protected by law. If you are accused of anything, you have the right to a fair trial. That's how a republic. And that is what protects you from a true democracy.
The ancient Greeks tried to have a true democracy, but it led to chaos and finally to the oligarchy. Even the greatest Greek philosopher Socrates, did not believe in a true democracy. He advocated that the rule wiser and more virtuous society, not the common people. In Plato's great work "The Republic", Socrates compared a "democracy" the crew of a ship to commit mutiny against their captain and taking the helm. In this scenario, the ship, in charge of "the" rabble, never have to work efficiently, or arrive at their destination, as the rebels constantly argue, fight and change their minds. There would be no order. The ship would be blown by the wind, so to speak.
Why not a real democracy works, you might ask? Well you see, most people are followers, not leaders or thinkers. They are emotional, not logical or rational. Being gullible, which vary on a whim, quick to jump to conclusions, and not wise. True democracy is like having a mob to take control (as in the example of Socrates above) without laws or protection. It is neither efficient, stable or sustainable. And, no logical reason to assume that the majority is always right either. Like the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius said: "The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority but to escape onself find in the ranks of the insane. "
Although on paper, America began as a Constitutional Republic, gradually evolved into a form of oligarchy (government by the elite), plutocracy (rule by the rich) and corporatocracy (rule by corporations). These terms are more accurate to describe United States government that the term "democracy." Any observer can see why unbrainwashed. However, the elite continue to perpetuate the propaganda democracy instill patriotic pride and religious fervor of its citizens, for their conformity and obedience (ironically). They see it as a "necessary illusion" as Noam Chomsky, the renowned American intellectual and critic, I would say.
However, there are some who try to argue that America is a democracy "representative" or a "constitutional democracy." And indeed, the school system uses such terms. But this is just a game of semantics and grasping at straws in an attempt to try to insert the word "democracy" in the equation to try to validate the cherished belief that America is a democracy. But either way you look, the U.S. can not have a democracy, because in a democracy, majority rules, and America most certainly does not act in any way, for many reasons (can not even cover it all here.) Rather, most American sheeple are masses of elite control and manipulate for the benefit of economy and its agenda.
Also, consider the following:
a) According to surveys, most Americans do not feel that have a say in their government or its policies, and do not feel their vote until the situation. (Hence the number of voters during elections tends to be lower than 50 percent) There is good reason for it. The government and the elite who run often act against the will of the people.
For example, most Americans do not want the war in Vietnam or the Iraq war, however, U.S. leaders insisted on them and got into our throats, with the help of the media, of course (see the film "War Made Easy" on Google Video). People also do not want higher taxes, but the government raises continuously.
So if democracy is a rule "majority", then how is it that most people do not have a voice in policymaking in the country, whether foreign or domestic? That says a lot, but most Americans still believe that democracy myth. (But fortunately, with the increased movement of conspiracy and the Internet, more Americans are starting to wake up every day)
b) In accordance with the historical background, no matter who holds the office of President, whether Democrat or Republican, conservative or liberal policies U.S., foreign and domestic, are still the same. Therefore, critics compared the whole political system to a show or theater, as the networks of power have both parties actually represent the same interests. The system is designed to maintain the illusion of democracy, to appease the gullible public street.
Therefore, people really have no say in the policies of their government sets. They are simply given the opportunity of electing presidents every four years, and the congressmen and senators every few years, as an illusion of some control in the democratic process. In reality, however, no matter who is elected, power networks (corporate giants, banking elite, military-industrial complex, secret societies, etc) make sure they are in control. They are the true masters, not the President of the United States, which is simply a scapegoat.
Why do you think U.S. presidents tend to repudiate his campaign promises who has won the election? Do you think a man likes to go to his word and breaking their promises in front of people all over the country? I do not think so. Obviously it is because has no choice because he is not really on top of the hierarchy and can not do anything. He is controlled by a network of "shadow" where their real loyalty lies. Otherwise I would not be in power, or better than submit to them if you want to stay in office, not to suffer the consequences (as John F. Kennedy, the last president of Real Madrid, he did, it was a warning to all that followed).
The elite only need to present the illusion of democracy to pacify the masses. And they do that gives you the farce of the elections, and called "democracy." All you have to do is control the small pool of candidates you have to choose one way or another, and remain in power, not you. That's why no matter who is elected, policies (Including covert) remain the same.
Of course, the elite do not believe in either democracy, true democracy would usurp his power. Therefore, knowing the propagation of myths that do not believe that is hypocritical and misleading.
c) Immigrants and foreigners from other countries tend not say, "Wow we have so much freedom and democracy in America, we never had in our home country" as Hollywood portrays. Go ahead and ask themselves same. They do not come to America for freedom or democracy, but to earn the almighty dollar and take advantage of career opportunities. In fact, most in the rest the world does not see America as a democratic ideal, but many see it as an ideal country to make money and search for career opportunities.
By Moreover, it is true that most people in the world wants to live in America. immigrants to the U.S. are mostly from Asia or Mexico, come to make money, not for "freedom." In fact, a large percentage of immigrants regret coming to America, feeling alone and isolated, and wishing they were in Back in his homeland, the U.S. media never covers of course.
See these revealing thoughts and feelings of the immigrants in the U.S. I've gathered:
http://www.happierabroad.com/ebook/Page32.htm
Of course, America does not bother to try to explain some of these discrepancies. You do not have. Just keep the public quiet with mass entertainment, and busy with work and consumption, which was left alone to do what he wants. United States does not care actually if you see through his lies, and knows that there will always be dissidents. You may say or think what they want, provided they do anything not to disturb your power or agenda.
And that brings us to the next myth …
2) "America is the freest nation on Earth. Our enemies hate our freedoms, and rest of world envy. "
This one really takes the cake. While a schoolboy, I always thought it was strange that we are constantly said that "America is the freest country on earth," but I was forced to go to school, doing homework every day, and would get a sheet detention "if I was not in class when the bell rang. My daily life does not seem "free" at all, but I said it was constantly like a religion.
The problem is that this fan is very vague statement, not specific to all, and is not compatible with anything except the media USA, Hollywood and the educational system. It has its own essence or foundation for it, and it makes no sense either. This statement is more a religion than a fact.
What is particularly revealing is that no one who is really well traveled believes that America is the freest "in the world. Only those who have never left U.S. Buy it. What do you say that?! That in itself is very devastating to the American myth.
Now, if the U.S. be truly free, do you think that would be subjected to boast that reassure himself? Such blatant boistering usually the mark of an insecurity or inferiority complex, not the sign of a free people happy. As a member of my forum wrote:
"As a person of intelligence does not need to say to others is intelligence, a society where free, need not be said to be free. "
In fact, the U.S. is the only one who thinks that is the epitome of freedom. The rest of the world does not share this myth about America. Even the fascist regimes, dictators and terrorists do not see America as a country "free" (as opposed to what Hollywood and U.S. media misportray). On the contrary, they see America as an Imperial Empire trying to take away the freedom of the rest of the world, and trying to dominate and control everyone take advantage of your resources! (They did it to Native Americans, so why not do it with the rest of the world?)
For some reason, Hollywood and the U.S. media perpetuate this strange stereotypical image that all countries outside the U.S. are living under fascist regimes governing by martial law with soldiers pointing machine guns at all, keep them in terror, and that the U.S. is the only country free of all that. This is totally false and ridiculous, but many Americans seriously believe that, sadly.
The reality is that most countries do not live under fascist dictatorships. However, United States claims to be the only country that is "free" of fascism, using the worst examples of dictatorial regimes contrast himself. In doing so, United States uses a classic advertising technique comparison of the best on your side with the worst of the other party, which is a total falsehood and deceit. (A comparison more accurate and logical comparison would be typical examples of both sides).
American culture, media and movies all suggest While all foreign countries under fascist regimes are oppressive, while America's own struggle for freedom and democracy. This is very inaccurate and not reflect reality at all. However, America NEVER deal with this, of course, because it destroys the propaganda of the illusions that hold together the country's moral.
Hollywood is fond also portray all immigrants as idolizing the freedom of America and all terrorists so jealous of the freedom of the United States and conspiracy to eliminate their threat to fascism.
For example, in the 1985 movie starring U.S. invasion Chuck Norris, an army of terrorists burst in Florida during the Christmas season. While parked in a suburban neighborhood, the terrorist leader looks around families celebrating Christmas at home, and then mutters something about "Americans enjoy their freedom" (according to the myth that America's enemies hate their freedoms) before using a bazooka to blow up some houses. For some reason, Hollywood likes to portray the United States rather than myths and reality is the epitome of the stereotypes. Call it a conspiracy that, if you want.
Now let's analyze the concept of America as "the freest country."
What does America mean "free" exactly? That you're free to do whatever he wants without laws or rules? No way! As in all countries, the U.S. has many laws, regulations and controls that must be met under. vary from one country to another, of course, but there is no evidence to suggest that U.S. laws are more lax than most countries. On the contrary, the government regulations are much stricter in the United States, which is one reason why companies are outsourcing, as well costs of cheaper labor.
In fact, in most countries is that while as you have money for transport and accommodation, and not violated any laws, which are "free" to get to anywhere on public lands, visit any attractions that you like, eat, drink and be merry. So how it to be different in the U.S.? What exactly are those "free" to do in America that can not be done anywhere else?
In fact, Arguably, since the United States is one of the world's most expensive countries to live or travel, purchasing power is reduced there, while much is multiplied higher in third world countries. Therefore, the ability to "buy his freedom" is greatly diminished in the U.S.. So if freedom is defined by purchasing power, so in that sense, the U.S. is "less free" than cheaper third world countries where purchasing power would be much higher. Any Expatriates living in third world countries (eg Philippines, Thailand, Costa Rica, etc) will tell you this. And I feel Hollywood and CNN, but practically none of these expatriates say they are "less free" outside the U.S.. In fact, they tend to say they are "more free" outside the U.S., which destroys Hollywood stereotypical propaganda.
(Also you may be surprised to know that no one I know who has been in the Middle East reporting is less free in the United States, despite the extreme Islamic laws there in black and white. They report that the image of the U.S. media Middle East is total BS. And indeed, Middle East Arabs do not consider America to be "more free" than where they came from, since they define "freedom" differently. Yet, curiously, a freedom they have in the Middle East, which is not in America, is that can arise for an evening work and not worry about getting fired, but only receive your payment attached.)
Here are some examples of letters of expatriates eloquent. As you can see, I definitely feel more free and happier in other countries. (So much for the propaganda of Hollywood)
http://www.happierabroad.com/Great_Letters.htm
Moreover, many countries have freedoms, it is not possible in America. For example, Holland has much more liberal laws on drugs and prostitution, and is much less prudish or puritannical about sex than America. In Europe in general, there are more of a lively social scene and the connection, giving you the "freedom" to meet people, make more friends and socialize more, against U.S. the environment where strangers rarely talk to each other, except for commercial purposes, where "every man is an island ", where there is an ice barrier" between strangers, and where people are paranoid of each other. Moreover, in most countries, a man can flirt with a girl, courting, or ask her out without feeling like an idiot "or" predator ", unlike in the U.S..
In Latin America, one can dance freely or hold salsa parties in their neighborhood at will, while in America it would be inappropriate and off the field. In addition, Russia and many other countries, one can walk around outside drinking beer, while in the U.S. which is illegal. So you see, there are many "freedoms" that are only possible outside the U.S.. Thus, the hypothesis of America "Anything is possible in America can not do anywhere else in the United States is the greatest in all things "is objectively false.
Jeremy Rifkin, author of The European Dream, summarizes the difference between the idea of "freedom" Europe against the United States, explaining why the concept of Europe is more advanced and progressive:
(Pages 13-14)
"The American and the European dream, at its core, about two diametrically opposed ideas of freedom and security. Americans have a negative definition of what it means to be free and therefore secure. For us, freedom has been associated with autonomy. If one is autonomous, he or she is not dependent on others or vulnerable to circumstances outside their control. To be autonomous, have to be proprietary. The more wealth one accumulates, the more independent the world. One is free to become self-sufficient and island of self. With wealth comes from exclusivity, and exclusivity comes security.
The new European dream, however, is based on a different set of assumptions about what constitutes freedom and security. [B] For Europeans, freedom is not found in autonomy but in the roots. To be free is to have access to multitude of interdependent relations with others. B] [/ The more communities have access to more options and choices have to live a full and meaningful life. With relation is inclusion, and the inclusion is of security. "
The popular phrase for the ignorant Americans, "It's a free country is often used to justify anything they want. However, it is one of the stupidest statements ever. When I was in high school children, who collected in me or intimidated me would use the "It's a free country" excuse to do what he wanted. It is totally stupid. No country "free" that allows the average person do everything they want, above all others. Each country has many laws, rules and regulations. It frightens me how easily people wash the brain.
So what exactly is "free" to do in America that can not be done anywhere else? United States does not answer this important issue. But I'll take a crack at it. Let's see …
You are free to work and earn more money than you can in most countries, yes, but the high cost of living offsets. In fact, Americans are more indebted than any other country, and most Americans live paycheck to paycheck and are one paycheck away from being broke. Most do not own their own homes, but they have mortgaged, becoming slaves to the bank. Is that freedom?
You have individual rights under the Constitution, yes, but in most countries, especially Europe and Australia, there are human rights. Most countries lack the extreme abuse of human rights shown in the U.S. media. But let's be realistic here. In any country, are in power seek to maintain their power and control, not protect the rights of its citizens. It's the same in the U.S.. Ethics can never be truly clean, as long as the money can be used to influence and control things.
Americans like to boast that they have freedom of speech and may speak against their own government leaders and legally, without being arrested, while in all other countries, doing so will get you arrested or shot. But again, this is misleading. If it is true that you are legally authorized to speak against the government in America, the truth is also that most countries are also authorized thereto, (though a few fascist regimes), if not actually DO anything to interfere with government power and control.
The same applies United States. You can think what they want, participate in activism and protest, and write what they want (like I do here), if not actually get in the way networks of power and corporatocracy who run it. If you do, you will be subject to punishment or imprisonment, and if you are a popular leader able to make waves so large that even can be killed (for example, Martin Luther King Jr, JFK, RFK).
So, essentially, is the same thing. The only difference is that citizens of other nations can view the status of freedom in how it really is, while Americans are under the illusion that they have a special status as "the most free nation on Earth. "
Sure, there are some countries like Communist China or North Vietnam, where dissent is not tolerated and leads to prison but these are extreme examples, and do not apply to most of the 200 + countries of the world. Furthermore, it is misleading to compare only the worst examples out there as the U.S. media and not Hollywood. Would be more accurate to compare typical of most countries rather than simply to support extreme your program, but the United States does not, obviously, for truth and reality are not their main objective.
Anyway, to speak against the government legally not make America the most free nation "on earth" as his propagandists preach. In addition, there are many more "freedoms" important to life than just being able to speak out against the government, which is only one thing in the broad spectrum of life.
Australia and most of Europe, for example, have the same basic freedoms that Americans, if not more. However, do not go around boasting that they are the nation free " the world "for all to follow, or invade other countries under the false pretext of the fight for freedom. They are much closer to earth and real about it. It is America that has these pumped delusions that tries to force the rest of the world. Americans seem to have an inferiority complex that makes them need to exaggerate and boast of their patriotism and their importance for the world. It's a sad thing that indicates a lack of true fulfillment within the American psyche. As I always say, America is a very fragmented and disconnected country both psychologically and sociologically. You can see that its citizens and the complete lack of human contact or social environment.
In fact, most We comply with the schedules and routines imposed by others, and submit to the authority of some kind. When we were children, conform to the school and submit to its authority, schedules, and workload standards. As adults, we submit to them in the companies that employ us. Most are not "free" to wake up and do what they want, especially not a workaholic expensive country like the United States. That's life. So what is "freedom" exactly? That's the big existential question.
Since we are all under the control of another for the most part, one way or another, there is "true freedom." Most of the world realizes this. It is Americans who do not, rather than live under the illusion that we are a free country and free people, and the rest of the world envies them and wishes they could to emigrate to achieve "freedom", despite evidence to the contrary.
Why, then, Americans believe this myth about its exclusivity to freedom when he has no basis in reality and not make any sense? Well, I can only surmise that:
a) Most people are followers, not leaders, visionaries and independent thinkers. They are incapable of thinking for themselves and believe in what they are told by the establishment and authority. Keep what they have been programmed and an laundering brain, and not resist. Even if your indoctrination conflict with their daily experiences and feelings still remain the same, even self-contradictory same or do not add up.
b) Because America is a country where only one can only rely on yourself and social isolation and segregation, so, social disconnection as a rule, people will feel empty inside, of course, and need something to believe in, whether it is a religion or be blind patriotism the freest country in the world. Otherwise, they have no reasons to feel proud and to continue turning them into slaves and consumers of the system.
Ironically, although it is expected to be independent and autonomous in the United States, which is also expected to conform to the propaganda and religious beliefs of the mentality herd "above. silence is a contradiction in the United States never bother to resolve, because obviously the U.S. is not interested in the intellectual debates about truth, but their profits, power, control and ownership.
c) The elite have a vested interest in promoting this illusion. It instills pride in the population, dumbs them down, keeps them ignorant about the rest of the world, and makes them comply with U.S. foreign policy, including military aggression abroad (tragically) and hostile takeover of foreign lands under the pretext of freedom and democracy.
This is especially the case if you are in the armed forces, in which case they must be fully indoctrinated in the belief that he is fighting for freedom and democracy, to inculcate you absolutely fair, but actually is on the side of evil by an act of military aggression and hostile takeover of profit and power, the bombing of civilians innnocent in the process. Otherwise do not follow orders to fight, to risk his life or kill others if you knew the truth.
3) "In America you have the freedom of expression, but if you ask what they say, such as religious myths, it is considered a heretic. "
In other words, "You have freedom of expression as long as you believe what you say and not what it is."
This of course, is hypocrisy and a contradiction direct the United States can not reconcile. There are many contradictions. For example, capitalism is said to be based on Christian values and ethics, however, teaches that greed is good, while Christian Scripture clearly teaches that greed is bad. But it's not supposed to be about these things. So much for freedom of expression.
But then again, America has freedom of speech as essentially harmless. Talking can not hurt after all, unless of course to do something about it. And America knows that most people are passive. You can talk the talk dissidents, but most will never do anything about it, and that's the bottom line for the elite.
It is a complicated form of mind control which deludes itself that you are free, when in reality is controlled mind. The great American intellectual critic, Noam Chomsky says in the film Manufacturing Consent that since the United States does not have a totalitarian military government elite should control the thoughts of the masses in their place. Therefore, participating in a form of totalitarian thought control "and not by government military. This means that you take control of you one way or another.
Apr.) "U.S. starts wars and invading countries begins to protect freedom and democracy or extended. It is your patriotic duty to support all U.S. wars engages in, even if you disagree with them. "
You might think that the brainwashing its citizens with the myths about freedom and democracy is a harmless act that simply keeps silent and passive sheeple. But it goes beyond that. These myths also serve to win public respect when the United States engages in war or invade other countries and deals with them, such as Iraq, killing innocent people for profit, greed and power.
Therefore, it is their duty to support all U.S. wars sponsored, even if it is in the wrong or are "bad guys" in the conflict. Anyone who does not condemn as "unpatriotic" or a heretic. Even celebrities and officials public are afraid to speak out against the Iraq war for fear of jeopardizing their positions and careers. (So much for freedom of expression) used American fed a form of mind control that suggests that if you are loyal to their country, will support all its wars and invasions, even when he is wrong or at the side of evil. Of Otherwise, they are seen as a "traitor" and there is something wrong with you.
In essence, what the U.S. is saying is that loyalty and patriotism are beyond of truth, justice and even life itself. The Committee is willing to sacrifice innocent lives, including his own, and spreading lies, for their evil purposes. This is simply wrong as well as evil. It is the antithesis of freedom and justice. As a chilling reminder, Hitler did the same.
In doing so, the U.S. again is contradicted by affirming the freedom of speech, while at the same time forbidding the issue of what it preaches. Indeed, the U.S. is saying: "You are free, but we must accept everything we say and do, no doubt," which is total hypocrisy.
The elite understand that they have to hide their reasons for getting involved in wars all the time. If the public been told the truth, that U.S. wars are about power, greed, control and acquisition, the American people would not be willing to risk life and limb of his troops for such purposes. No way. That's why the sheeple have to be deceived. The elite military-industrial complex behind know they are lying, but believe they can get away with it because they are at the top of the pyramid has a "God complex" and are "above the law." Their souls are really lost. Hopefully they will get their just cause karma.
This is especially true of those who serve in the military. If you watch documentaries about the lives of U.S. troops stationed in Iraq or for Naval personnnel on ships off the coast of Iraq, you see every day are constantly drilled with lies and propaganda that are there fighting for freedom and democracy, and they are heroes and liberators of Iraq. I pity these people more, because in reality they are sacrificing their lives, physical integrity and sanity to satisfy the greed, gain and power, that no sensible person would knowingly. The fascist army is a hierarchical organization and their subjects have no choice but to comply to what they say. Despite their honorable intentions, are the epitome of credulity. Have been transformed into robots who think, a total degradation of their humanity.
The blockbuster 2009 film accurately portrays Avatar reasons for U.S. aggression military. In the film, the U.S. Marines sent to plummage forests in an alien world to my special minerals that are sold "20 million dollars a kilo." In doing so, tribes had to move to exotic lands in order to plunder their forests and to reduce its main "tree of life." The film is honest in revealing the reasons for both sides. What was unusual about this film was that the U.S. Marine Colonel was honest to his men and told them beforehand that they were wrestling with minerals mining for profit, not to extend "Freedom and democracy." And as we learn about the blue alien tribe, to understand the sanctity and beauty of his life and the life energy of the jungle. With this sample, it becomes clear that it would be wrong and inhuman to destroy all in the name of corporate profits. With this manifesto, the conscience of the beholder, of course sides with the blue alien tribes, who are the victims in the conflict, and realizes that the U.S. military are the aggressors and the "bad guys" in the conflict. Thus, the audience starts cheering when the tide of battle turns and the U.S. military begins to lose to get, because after all they are "bad" evil and on the side of evil. This movie is wonderful for many reasons (such as its 3D feature), but is innovative in that it reveals that truth and life are ultimately more important than patriotism and loyalty.
Similarly, the 1990 film Dances with Wolves starring Kevin Costner represents same accuracy in its portrayal of the conquest of the American frontier. When Dunbar (Costner) joins the Sioux tribe and begins to understand and be one of them, U.S. Cavalry reveals what really are the instruments of aggression and plunder to steal the land of Native Americans and committing atrocities against the innocent to achieve those ends. When the audience understands this, he / she naturally sides with the plight of the Sioux tribe. So when Dunbar was rescued by his new brothers Sioux close end, the audience cheers as the U.S. men Cavalry are removed, which by then are seen as "bad."
I applaud these films with its image precisely the grounds of the U.S. military, and show the light of truth and compassion on patriotism and blind loyalty.
Conclusion:
So you see, the U.S. religious myths about freedom and democracy, which considers that the Gospel of Truth and his indoctrinated sheeple, is essentially unfounded and not based on facts or reality after a casual examination. These myths are a religion, the reasons nothing more. Many logical and normal comparisons from examples and experiences presented here to debunk these myths.
United States does not address the difficult questions raised in this essay, nor the fact that much of the reality contradicts the propaganda and myths that spread, but is non-existent. Instead, America launched its propaganda is limited to you, knowing that most people buy and ignoring the few not (unless on the way), then gives life to carry out a race (also known how to become a slave to business), consumption to help the economy, and dumbs it down with the forms of mass entertainment. That's the whole American life is. It is not the truth or answer difficult questions. This is to serve the profit system and corporatocracy. If you do not like the U.S. does not care as long as you do not get on the road.
What we can conlude then, on the basis of the above, is that "freedom" and "government of the people" are illusions. Need not actually exist. The public simply have the illusion of freedom and democracy.
But unfortunately for the U.S. and its drivers, the truth tends to be evident and the surfaces sooner or later. Each time the public found to have lied, his confidence in the government significantly reduced. Without trust, foundations collapse, as we have been seeing in the U.S. recently. This is how great empires fall, like Rome. They first landed inside. We're starting to see what happens with the U.S. empire, as more and more of its citizens become disillusioned with him.
In short, America is reaping the consequences of their self-destructive behaviors and ways, and in due time, the consequences of their deception and brainwashing its own people will also manifest, as the truth finally comes out. That is, unless you decide to repair and change their ways of exploiting others for profit, power and profit, and the use of lies and myths to cover their crimes and misdeeds.
But unfortunately, people do not like to change their habits, especially if they are on top of the pyramid, which case they have a vested interest to maintain the status quo.
The Roman Empire was also imperialist conquest of the lands belonging to others expand their power and control through military aggression, and forcing others to submit to their totalitarian regime. The difference is that Rome was honest about its intentions and purposes while the U.S. is not. However, America says its imperialism is trying to promote freedom and democracy. That's why the U.S. does not like to refer to himself as an "empire" or use the world "imperial" to describe himself in such terms contradict the myth that self-ascribed represents freedom and democracy (but in reality, of course, that represents the power, acquisition, control, domination and greed).
It's a shame States United does not see the wisdom of the parables of his own children is known as The Boy Who Cried Wolf, which teaches that the consequences of the lie is the destruction of the credibility and distrust of others. If the United States had taken account of this simple parable, it would not be in the mess it is today. But of course, Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. We have seen that throughout history, and America is no exception.
The game of the elite U.S. has always been to induce compliance in the population, while at the same time maintaining the illusion of freedom and democracy. It's a delicate game that is contradictory in itself, that intelligent thinkers can see through. As a result, elites have had to find ways to weaken the public, dumb them down, and distract to them. They have done this by segregating the population, so their paranoid citizens of the other, with emphasis on competitiveness, and distracting you with a mindless mass entertainment and the promotion of a rampant consumerist lifestyle.
But, unfortunately, are playing a losing game and are losing their grip. Only God knows what they are going to appeal to the next. Those in power do not give up easily, and not going down without a fierce struggle. Hopefully all that changes, revolutions or global awakening that comes next will occur through a peaceful transformation.
I also pray that the public be informed, enlightened, intellectual and rational, so that history does not repeat itself (as it often has in the past). As someone once said: "Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. "Hopefully the free flow of information online and this will be possible.

PS – If you want to start walking the path to becoming an intellectual free-thinker, like us, let me first warn however, that comes with consequences and benefits. (Although it may not be an election aware of your part, but a realization of what we already are) Becoming one, it will certainly have a rich interior life that others do not, and you will able to see and know things that ordinary people can not, at a depth and level. You also get the freedom to rise above the programming and packaging of society, that the average person does not even know existed. You will be able to see things as they really are, rather than how to set a.
However, it will be difficult to fit into social groups and the world, an intellectual in the background does not like "subject to" something, compliance is antithesis of free thought. In addition, you will find yourself looking down on ordinary people, who tend to be conformist and follow the package, as ignorant sheeple, so not really feel like you belong or fit in with them. To you, ordinary people will seem like zombies. Therefore, it will be difficult for you to remain modest, snobbiness as pride and can be part of your choice.
You may disagree often found in the other, making them just to say hello superficial or socializing. This means that you will find few people in life that can really relate to you. Even the ignorant may vibrate at a level instinctive sense, and feel it is somehow "different" than them, which vibrates at a different frequency. However, since like attracts like, which will undoubtedly find others as if from time to time, circumstances and coincidences. But it will connect with the majority.
Also, being able to see things that others can not and things know that others do not, you will find yourself annoyed by the failures and discrepancies that others are not hung up. Sometimes "ignorance is bliss" after all. Others may perceive as "anal retentive" to realize the imperfections that do not care.
An expatriate friend of mine, also a freethinker had this to say about my Forum on the life of a freethinking intellectual
"Why the government wants a good education to the masses? They would lose their power in the government's case, then the average person would be able to see all their lies and fallacies. Realize a small percentage out of their parent and will be or isolated from mainstream society or entering the circle of power as one of its own.
To break any of those labels has a strong sense of purpose and some kind of divine intervention that was agreed before birth and are intertwined in life. There are always people like this that break the mold, but society generally not aware of his greatness until it has left the Earth plane. People who are far ahead of all that is happening in society are those who maintain society advances, but they are often ridiculed in the process of trying to make others see the light. Most people do not have the ability to visualize what the future holds, or do badly because they interpret the future use of their preconceived notions of reality.
A true visionary states differ from the mainstream and not is offended by the blatant comments about you. "
That said, if you look to find a majority of intellectuals or the population, best opportunity, in my experience, it would be in Europe, where knowledge, culture, education and the breadth of vision seem to be at the highest levels.
