What is too much to ask for for apartment maintenance ?
Every since we’ve moved into our apartment 4 months ago, i noticed a tiny bit of what i think is black mold forming in the corners of our bath tub. As time has passed, the mold has increased… majorly. It has started to go onto the wall. I have tried everything from bleach to literally every single “mold” remover in Wal-Mart. Should i ask the maintenance crew to remove the mold and put completely new silicon or should i pay to do it myself. is that their responsibility? thanks.
You need to have them completely replace the sub-floor and walls coverings around the tub.
It is totally their responsibility.
If they balk, contact your local Health Department.
