How to remove stains from vinyl siding?
I live in New England. My white vinyl siding has developed small black spots in it. They are the size of a pin head and raised. You can scrape up the outside and feel soft but leave behind a black spot. Nothing seems to remove them. I have tried various cleaning products, washing and pressure washing. They are not a mold and whitening products have no effect. Someone said it could be the sap of a nearby pine tree, but this is a bug and tar remover with no luck. They also told me that spores can be spread mulch in the flower bed below. Any suggestions?
Bleachgel Did you try one or try to leave a small piece of stick on a soggy papertowel bleach and see if more time needs. You could also try some oxyclean, as designed to achieve organic stains. As much as you've tried, these are long shots, but good luck.
