Orange color scheme for the concept of open plan lounge / kitchen?
I'm trying to reach a decorating scheme for my open concept living room / Kitchen / dining room. In the kitchen, the yellow walls, cabinets white stone countertop, black appliances, black and white checkered floor and black. Will as a kind of modernization of the 50's diner. I'm not sure how to incorporate this style in the living room. My husband and I are pretty rock n 'roll, but also very modern / contemporary. We wanted to paint the walls of the room a dark orange color, but were not sure about any of the other colors to use … We thought about keeping the white crown molding / window frames / baseboards. What we need are some suggestions for decorating colors that connect to our living space in our kitchen.
I like orange … if you dare paint the moldings and baseboards black to get black in the living room.
