What kind of actions I can take against the owner with respect to black mold growing in my apartment?
I have black mold growing in my closet and I has asked numerous time for them to take care of it, not good for my health, I know. But if they do not do anything about it, what measures must be take?
I had the same problem with the owner after the water heater went wrong in my apartment. I took pictures of the mold that grew in apartment and asked for a new apartment and would not be satisfied by what he presented a constructive eviction. constructive eviction is a term used in property law to describe a circumstance in which a homeowner or do something or stop doing something that has the legal duty to provide (for example, the owner refuses to provide heat or water to housing) making the property uninhabitable.
