Black Mold Exposure at home, have breathing problems now, how long before it can cause permanent damage?
I live in a house, telling the owner, on all water leaks for seven months and now I'm having problems respatory, remaining antibiotics once you finish one, you have to get another, and my lungs are getting worse. The owner is not doing anything just threatened me if I became the health department. Everyone says get out now, including dr. but have nowhere to go, no money. I've been breathing and living in this black mold for seven months and is now sick, and do not know what to do, how long it takes to make this black mold to serious damage to my health than Dr.S not be able to fix it?
Listen to your doctor out now .. health department of social services, red cross, someone in your town will help. I'm not sure about the permanent lung damage will not be known until outside of maybe a year or so. Be careful of what you take w / you, because the spores are airborne. It can ruin your stuff, I'm not sure but maybe put into storage for a while and see if there is any mold,,, look in the phone book for a contractor and ask about a free inspection mold to see if the rec. leaving everything. leave now.
