Prevention of Allergy in Children
As a person with multiple chemical sensitivity and allergies (food and plants), I have always been very conscious that same potential in my children, especially those who share my fair, fair complexion, blue eyes. I had not found that my children had allergy problems specific or tenderness, but in search of a better understanding of my own health situation, I found listings of potential allergy symptoms Unrecognized (circles under the eyes, red cheeks and red ears). Those who could identify in my own children.
I therefore sought to address this question in several ways before it really became a problem for my children: (1) by removing toxins from your environment as much as possible, especially in the area of household cleaning products, (2) by eliminating or limiting foods that I know that common allergens and by paying careful attention to quality of your overall diet, and (3) by strengthening your immune system through a comprehensive nutritional program. Putting a priority in these three areas was relatively easy for my family.
I removed all toxic cleaning products and detergents in my house and replaced them non-toxic, environmentally safe and extremely effective household cleaning. Everything from laundry detergent to oven germicidal cleaner heavy duty, now I have great options to keep my house clean without jeopardizing my health or the health of my children.
For other toxins in the air, I have invested in the unfiltered air purification technology. This gives us everyone a "safe haven" in the home, a place where our bodies do not have to deal with pollen, dust, volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde or even bacteria and mold.
Power issues are mostly the same as everyone should be looking – avoid processed foods, eat fresh as much as possible, stay away from high fat content and the like. Yes, I let the kids eat candy. But it is very rationed and only available after fruit, vegetables, protein, dairy and whole grains.
As the potential problem foods, I have not been too strict, you just have to pay attention to the issue. Due to its known role as a common allergen, which limit the consumption of dairy something (making sure that calcium needs are met supplementation). And several in the family seem to be happier not to enter digestive systems with wheat gluten. These adjustments in the diet of more effort and commitment, but I think it's worth the trouble.
Having introduced the supplement program when my children were very young, who has been a fact. I'm surprised when Parents say they can not "Get" their children to take their vitamins. It is a non-negotiable in my home … like brushing your teeth. You would have your children the medicine prescribed for you if they wanted to take it or not, is not it?
In general, this approach has been very successful. We have no doctor visits each winter, have not been on antibiotics per year, children are eager, focused students, and the potential for allergies are not manifested. I think as your immune system is strengthened with the support of nutritional supplements, are better able to resist the criminals who might otherwise contribute allergies and sensitivities.
It's a blessing to be contributing to optimal health for my children. When I think about what the alternatives might be, I shudder. I can easily picture of my family as well as others, to my knowledge – the health response to crisis after crisis in their children, always trying to play "Fix-It" from a handicap, instead of avoiding the problems first.
