tile grout mold: Any way to remove it?
I have an old house with an old shower alike. Built 1909. The shower tile grout is black if I leave unscrubbed, brown best with a good cleaning. I do not want rutile. I like the original tile. Any way to get rid of mold? Perhaps regrout? Thanks Shojo which is very good looking. I was not aware of this tool. Maybe you should be able to advertise for them?
Go invest in a Dremel! It's not really a great investment, only about $ 100 for the best. Anyway, there's a Dremel attachment specifically for cutting old, discolored grout so you can regrout! I love it! I redid my bathroom by myself in less than a day and a friend of his had done professionally and lasted three days. How to make my bed, I drilled holes for hanging pictures, used it as an electric screwdriver, used to PVC cut while making a plumbing repair, which are used to sand my headlights covers to look new again, used it to refinish marble engraved with small water cutting board, sand gave details on a table I built for my daughter, sharpened my garden tools and lawn mower blades, and cut the chicken wire to make a removable basket for my compost pile. It is a useful tool for any use to have around, one will get many years out of use after the grout. The best tool I bought $ 40!
