I need help. We can have toxic mold and we believe that our cat is sick because of it.?
We live in a rental house and has been ill we moved in June. We thought the allergies, but after almost a year we can not exclude as allergies. We did a test at home and was positive for mold, so I sent off for further testing for toxic mold. Well we found our cat had a slightly runny nose yesterday and today, when we got home we realized bloody urine in the litter box and a bit about the litter box. It's too late to go to the vet (It's the middle of the night now) and will take in the morning. What I know that it is possible that toxic mold may be causing this? I looked everywhere online to see if it is related, but no one gives what to look for if your pet is showing signs of poisoning by toxic mold.
Personally I do not think it's because the cast but I could not wrong, a veterinarian. My cat always has a runny nose and sneeze a lot and took him to the vet and the vet said everything is fine with it, its probably allergies only. But the bloody uring scares me because that could mean cancer. There's really nothing you can do until they go to the vet tomorrow, but definitely I would take it as soon as possible!
