I think more of a concern in an abandoned building structural hazards such as stairs are unstable and rotten plants (crawling around abandoned buildings not recommended!) Do not hang up somewhere if there is a strong smell of mold, but the short-term exposure is unlikely that it will not hurt. A more probable infection and brain damage allergy symptoms like a sore throat and nasal congestion. Of course, if one of you is allergic to mold and have asthma that is triggered by allergies, which could be a bad combination.
