Dogs can have allergies too
Humor magazines have had fun with the way some dog owners resemble their dogs, but if not dogs resemble their owners, dogs are doing many of the same diseases. Dogs, like humans, can be unhealthy obese and poor eating habits and not enough exercise. Dogs can also acquire diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and gum disease and dental problems that cause bad breath. The Dogs can also, believe it or not, develop allergies.
Like people, dogs are itchy skin and watery eyes from contact with things you are allergic. Others may cause the dog to develop flu-like symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting.
Dogs with allergies are not as uncommon as you may think, and some experts, in fact, say one in five dogs have an allergic reaction to some substance.
If your dog has Allergy treatment is mostly a two-step procedure: 1) Get the dog to a veterinarian to determine what triggered the allergic reaction and 2) make whatever it takes to protect your pet from greater exposure to what was causing the allergic reaction.

It is not uncommon for a dog to be allergic to staphylococci (staph) bacteria on your skin, but when it happens develops some dramatic symptoms such as hair loss, red spots on the skin and, possibly, the development of pockets of pus (pustules) filled with liquid. Staph bacteria itself is not rare – its almost everywhere in a certain amount – but this kind of reaction to it is fortunately very rare. Your dog is more likely to Bacterial develop an allergy if you have other unhealthy ways, or have other severe allergies.
Your veterinarian will run some tests on the blood of your dog and determine the nature of bacteria and most likely the cure – most likely an antibiotic or an immune stimulant.
We all love our dogs and hate to see them sick or in pain. Provided that their behavior becomes frantic dogs, on the other end, he is tired or when you notice something abnormal in his behavior or physically, is better get your vet involved as quickly as possible.
