Mold and moisture in the house?
I am currently in a rented house. When we moved in the owner neglected to mention that there were some wet (which seems cream of mold powder), but has now begun to show through the paint. I am a little worried because it is getting bigger and is in the middle (Surrounding the main light switch) of a supporting wall so I'm puzzled as to where you came. Since then have also noticed some black mold begins to show through a wall of my room window. I am concerned to hear horror stories about toxic mold peoples houses and I'm asthmatic. Is this something that my landlord must get sorted and may be detrimental to my health?
By the time u make all these phone calls and get answers u can have the problem fixed.Leave a message to the owner .. tell you about the mold and that u will check if does'nt respond PDQ Get a bucket of 5 gallons of "base KILZ oil "9-inch roller sleeve with a nap of 1 / 2 inches, and a gallon of paint thinner. Take pictures of the mold and start painting away. Cover all shaped areas well with KILZ. U sure do have a couple of fans going and all open windows in the house. You should be able to charge the landlord a month's rent for do this yourself. Do not just sit there and wait for someone to do it .. it's your health … ACT NOW!
