Black mold: Is it as toxic as it’s hyped to be?
I live in air force housing, and have tested the air in my house for black mold. I’m waiting on the official results, but there was three very obvious black rings of mold growing in the petri dish after 1 hour of open exposure to the air in my son’s bedroom. We tested his room because he’s had health problems from 3 weeks after birth. The housing office says they will relocate us if the mold is over a certain amount in the air, but I kind of think, no matter how much there is, they should move us… The fact that it’s there is bad enough.
OH, the unit connected to our home (duplex style) is condemned, uninhabitable from black mold. What do you think? Any experience with black mold?
I suggest you make very strong orchestrations to the housing office to be relocated immediately. The black mould is extremely detrimental to the health of your son, and to you and your husband as well. The place where you are now dwelling should be immediately declared uninhabitable and condemned. The sooner you are all out that place the better. If the Air Force do not move quickly on this, the outside World might “accidentally” get to know about it. I have no idea how the reporters get their hands on such things. — wink.
