Toxic Mold Information

toxic mold information
I was trying to find out more about being old pancake mix toxic?

does mold grow in a wet area, as refrigerated or dry, as the pantry or not only grow after the expiration date (read about it in Dear Abby), but said no more mold can be toxic

Here is the article referred to Dear Abby to: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/life/3792756.html In fact, this seems to have happened before. I've included a link to another incident referred to in the following article. In that particular incident, the pancake mix was in a closet. Penicillium, Fusarium, Mucor and Aspergillus were found in a sample of mixed expired (which was 2 years old). From the article: "The deceased had a history of allergies to molds and penicillin, and therefore was allergic to molds in the pancake mix. "
