
Toxic Black Mold, litigation, litigation?
We rented a house that has just learned that significant amounts of toxic mold in the basement and rooms bathroom. We've all had symptoms of allergies and believed only one person (who has asthma) has been in and out of hospital recently for infections bladder, difficulty breathing, closing of the throat, etc. In addition, another person has had significant abdominal symptoms (nausea, etc.) Uninsured, but even if so, homeowners insurance should pay for that? Call a lawyer, who said he could not "prove" anything, it makes no sense. We sick. What is there to prove it. Is not it dangerous to live here any longer? If the owner is responsible? 1, if you care about your health, then move. Do not take the mold with you though. ask Tell your doctor if the cast is causing your symptoms – if it is, but is that cause? Because any trial will become certainty. If you are losing waffle of all time in court. If the owner is responsible is an issue more complicated – sufficient mold will destroy the house, and this is not a habitable environment in which are entitled. that due to negligence if, or any other theory, which makes them responsible for their health care will have a lawyer and probably a court to decide. Especially if you can not show the court that you did not cause the mold in the first place, or do not report timely, or …. you get the idea.
