New Orleans schools? As soon as possible?
Less than 20 of the 120 school buildings are still used in New Orleans. Teachers and students have been relocated. Parents do not want to uproot her children again. They do not want to expose their children to mold, dust, toxic and unsanitary conditions. What do you think about the reopening of school for the next school year 2006-07 considering the conditions of school buildings. (Ten points for best answer) ..
Great question. You should also consider the fact that most of these schools were so academically poor, one must wonder if parents in New Orleans, even want their children be educated. I think that schools are gearing up to be environmentally safe to open before the new school year, but remains to be seen whether in fact these schools may provide a quality education.
