Toxic Mold Remedy

toxic mold remedy
I have a Kentia palm growing in a pot outside, which has spots on its leaves ..?

I live in South Australia, and the palm is in a protected location outside the back door. It has what looks a lot like black mold on the surface of the leaves. When I play, it feels oily and sticky. Can anyone tell me what it is, and give me some simple remedies? I prefer not to use anything toxic.

Take 15 leaves of tomato (to borrow a neighbor / garden) and 2 small onions. Dice that up real small and steep in 1 / 4 cup of alcohol during the night. Paint it on the leaves with a sponge as a paint brush, the two sides. It will remove the black spot the mold and help prevent a recurrence. Make sure the palm of your hand gets at least 2 hours of sunlight each day. Is required to remain healthy.
